Downes should be under orders to get a yellow card. If he gets one in the next 4 games, he’ll pick up a 2 match ban. So, better to get one tomorrow and miss Wednesday and West Brom than get one then and miss Coventry and/or Norwich, is it? Unlikely he goes all 4 without getting one. I’d probably start with Larin to help protect Stewart. Other than that, no need to change anything. We can make changes at Wednesday if we need to. I wouldn’t mind seeing Edozie left, Scienza right and Matsuki in number 10 at some point, to see how that goes.

Great to see some players who can have some mixed games, get excellent moments. Scienza hasn’t quite had his initial impact of late, and had a poor pass to Azaz when we were one up. But a lovely, well picked out corner for the second goal. Matsuki hasn’t really got crosses in, and has been a bit muted running in from wide. But a great ghost in front of the keeper for his header. Azaz can look frustrating at times. But when in the right position, can put away excellent shots, like the first. We’ve patiently waited for opportunities. Sometimes, a bit too long. Manning, for one, was frustrated by the movement in front of him. But when we’ve moved through the midfield with our passing, we’re a threat. Scienza’s slow pass back to Azaz and THB hitting the post showed that. We’ve a strong bench tonight. So looking forward to their impact. Larin has been much more than a target, allowing others to get space. And a shout to Downes. When QPR had a break, he tracked back working out the passing angle to intercept.

Great win. QPR were shite and their keeper was awful but we took our chances and apart from the first half lull, we were very good. Larin was excellent, Leo much better in the second half, Fin good, Bree good, even Manning was decent. But for his 2 goals, I’m giving MOTM to Kuryu. Works hard. He has the spot over Fellows for me currently.

Glad to see an Azaz masterclass. Wonderful passer of the ball. Yes he’s inconsistent, but if he was any better he wouldn’t be playing for us! Big shouts out for Larin for leading the line so well, Leo for a much better 2nd half, Harwood Bellis for another very composed game and Matsuki for 2 very nicely taken goals. I’m starting to like this team again!

Great result & exactly what we should be doing to poor teams in this league like that Not a great 1st half & up until his 1st goal I thought that Matsuki had a very poor 1st half. He came out a different player in the 2nd half. Great 2nd half performance by most & signs are there now that with our squad, that if all clicks we could be formidable in this league. Think we just need more positivity & faster play. Less slow passing around the back & edges, which was what we done most of the 1st half. Scienza had a much better 2nd half, thought that Larin was very good. There’s a great player in Edozie & if he gets more time he’d be ready/sharp at play-offs. Charles exudes class & calmness & Bree has brought more solidity to the defence. Fellows looks short of confidence & needs to get his head up more Great result – onto the next

We worked hard to make things click for us. Sure, Scienza’s shot was parried for Matsuki’s confident finish. But Manning put in a brave touch to get it to Scienza. With Rangers pushed back, Manning supported well. It was lovely to see Leo get a goal. But look at Larin motoring for the pass. Bree was solid throughout, and seems capable of getting really good goals too. Hopefully an extension to hold down a first team player. THB not only hit the post, but put through some good direct passing. Where we can struggle to get through the midfield, this is a good option to have. He did well recovering when their player got through. Even Peretz, with his diving header played a part. The game was well over when the subs came on. But they all had moments, and it’s good to see the depth we have getting game time. Surprisingly close to 6th, considering where we’ve been this season. COYR!

That was a fun watch. Felt like everyone played pretty well. Great to see Jack & THB playing with confidence. Clearly the team trying to set up goals for Larin & Archer. Larin has been a good addition I think. His hold up play; and just generally making life tough for the defenders creates so much space for the creatives around him. A few lovely touches as well. Keep up the good work Cyle. Nice to see the competition for places too – Edozie & Matsuki keeping Scienza and Fellows honest. When Azaz has a good day, Saints have a good day Well done Tonda. Good to see us taking our chances for once, that was the difference for me. Matsuki isn’t a winger but was more productive in one match than Fellows has been all season.

Well that was a game of two halves. We were pretty crap in the first half, well taken goal by Azaz but then he went awol until half time. Matsuki was decent and then he popped up with that header. I said to my Dad that first goal after half time would be the decider, after that third went in they were done. It was one way traffic. On another day we could’ve easily got another two or three. Larin was excellent with his hold up play; in fact most of the team went up a level in the second half. We need to push that momentum through now.

The perfect evening 😊 Cyle is such a good centre forward 😊 strong, powerful, brings others into play. There was one moment where he bought the ball down beautifully and created another opening. Absolutely brilliant stuff. I’d love to know how many key contributions Azaz makes per game as even if he has a ‘stinker’, he alway produces 1-2 good chances for the team. Loving Matsuki’s development also. For all his faults, Tonda is now running at about 1.8/1.9 points per game, which would have given us 60-64 points if he’d started the season. Take out Bazunu being retarded, and we’d have been right up if there. All if’s, buts and maybes though. Anyone missing Bazunu’s sublime build up play from the back?
