I’ve been enjoying the St. Louis influence this season. I’m originally from there (during the McGuire days) but moved to Arizona and converted to be a dbacks fan. I’m excited to see them together here. Arenado has been amazing but I’ve always felt like hes just not as happy here. Hopefully having his ‘son’ here will help that.

My take on the trade: Daniel Eagan was very good at High-A to start the year. AA jump appears to have been a bit bumpy for him so far. Sandro Santana, in an albeit limited sample size at AA (15 innings), has certainly made the jump OK. Noot had hit his peak and was arb eligible next year. Within the current OF, it was a good time to move on.
