I actually pity younger fans who think this garbage is what professional basketball ought to be. It’s alarming how little the players even care. Draymond Green is out there behaving like a WWE villain, and 10 seconds after he clocks Vanderbilt in the head, Hachimura is sharing a laugh with him on the free throw line. Two minutes after he mistakes Austin Reaves for a tackling dummy, James is hugging him.

Yeah, he’s not a great rebounder but it’s less of an issue when I see that he is boxing out. Maxi and Vando both crashed the boards.

Do you guys watch the games or nah. He is literally the one boxing out the most in games, he is not in the Vando or Luka type of role to crash boards. He is doing the dirty work most of the time. And most of the times he is switched onto guards so he is nowhere near the rim

He’s the one boxing out and getting everyone else the rebound. Rui could easily average 7 rebounds per game (his FIBA average) and it wouldn’t necessarily mean he’s contributing more to the team’s overall rebounding, just that he’s grabbing more of the rebounds himself. It doesn’t account for how many other potential rebounds the team might have given up due to lack of proper box outs.

He’s like the only person on our team outside of our big 3 that is consistent. Yes his defense isn’t good but I feel like he’s a really underrated offensive tool for this team.
Everyone always shits on him and I don’t get it. He’s averaging 12 points and 3 rebounds. Not great numbers but not everyone is going to be scoring 20 a game. The guys that can give you 12 points every game are stil valuable.
