Good afternoon/evening everybody! With two weeks left in the regular season, the Jays currently control their own destiny! I can honestly say very few people, myself included, expected us to be here two months ago. Looking forward to an exciting end to the season, regardless of how it goes.

I've also learned a surprising amount of Jays fans don't understand what controlling your own destiny means in a sports context. But that's neither here nor there.

Also what really bothers me most, is that Vladdy gets a home run and a few hits yesterday, and all the fans, his team,  sports commentators are praising him, non stop, as if he won the world series. He gets $40 million dollars a year, and he has been MIA for most of the season, shows up intermittently, and tonight when we needed him most, he struck out. Lukes has been the most consistent player throughout the year, offensively and defensively, quite underrated, no drama, makes $800 thousand a year, and nobody even mentions him. Thanks Lukes, you are appreciated/  admired, and you are a great team player. Oak, Bateman, Straw, Kirky, Andre, (Ernie, Cease who might be hurt) and the Amazing Bullpen, thankyou.
