It seems Suzuki is elite at claiming crosses, much like Dibu is. Dibu is a better shot stopper and I think their passing stats are fairly meaningless if we don't know how Parma set up tactically. If PSG were amongst Suziki's other suitors then you'd imagine that smart people who get paid a lot of money to think about this stuff all day every day rate how he is with the ball at his feet and that's enough for me.

In Japan, we watch the PL via streaming (not on TV). If a club has Japanese players, we can watch it with Japanese commentary (and the Big 6 as well). Football is not the biggest sport in Japan, but almost all fans support the national team, so we really care about the overseas leagues. All I want to say, technically Villa Park could be full only Japanese fans. Our national team fanbase is huge than any Japanese clubs.

The J League is immensely popular in japan, and almost all the football merchandise there is for J League teams, almost exactly in the way that the English generally only support an English team. I think it's important that we temper expectations in terms of finances and opportunities based on this purchase.

I'm also a season ticket holder at a J League club. And i'd say that Brighton are as well known here right now as any other English club.
