It was nice to see us execute some solid small ball to move Rushing and get a run as part of an inning that ultimately ended up being the difference in this game. I find watching our offense break out the big bats, utilize some small ball, and play some solid D to get a win as a balanced team executing in all phases very satisfying. Well, almost all phases. That bullpen mini-meltdown almost handed them the win until T Scott showed everyone what’s up.

P.S. Ward’s charging, sliding catch in left field just made Sportcenter’s Top 10. Atta boy, Rookie!! 😤😎

Great game at the beginning, especially for Freeman, Ohtani, and Rushing — but bullpen had some yips; unfortunate how much Hurt’s ERA has risen when it was sub-one a few games ago, and Klein had some control issues in this outing. Nevertheless, redemption for Scott.

Somewhat worried about Pages, I feel like he’s cooling down after being put in the second spot. Nothing alarming yet, just a tad bit concerning.

序盤はフリーマン、大谷、ラッシング中心に最高の試合運びだったのに…ブルペンがダメだったな。ハートのERAが数試合前はほぼ0台だったのに一気に悪化したのが残念。クラインも制球が定まってなかったし。それでもスコットの復活は嬉しかった。

パヘスが2番に入ってから少し調子を落としてきてる気がするのがちょっと気になる。まだ深刻じゃないけどね

But the real kudos go to Klein and Scott. Klein because he powered through two innings to save the bullpen despite not having a good night, and Scott for proving his last outing was a fluke and saving the game.
