Sucks the series turned out like this, but all credit to the Brewers— this is exactly the way baseball was meant to be played. Guys 1-9 all contributing, Frelich earning a walk, imediately stealing second and getting batted in on a base hit single while your starters, bullpen and defense have all been nails. Hopefully the rest of the league takes notes, this is such better baseball to watch than hero ball hoping and praying someone hits a homer.

And the pitching? Highly questionable to say the least. Where in the world was Roki Sasaki? Dave was so afraid to yank our guys when they're throwing a stinker yet simultaneously lets way too many of them die out there.

Dodgers ran out of steam. There is a reason no team in american sports has 3 peated in the modern era of the individual leagues. It was a great run of two pretty unforgettable WS wins in a row.

Now they got to get a bit younger, maybe retool the pitching staff a bit and they definitely need to consider making a change to the hitting staff. It is frankly unacceptable that this team more or less slumped all year and had one too many batters hitting at or near career lows. And that wasn't a new problem, since they also slumped after july last season, it just didn't cost them like it did this year where they could never get going in the playoffs.

Ohtani being a two way player next year is something they gotta sit down and discuss too. He may want to do it, but this team can't really afford him continuing to ruin his arm and diminishing his offensive value.

I enjoyed this sub. Look on the bright side. They say we're old. However Dalton Rushing and JDP will get more burn, Roki will continue to improve. Skubal and Yamamoto will be Skubal and Yamamoto, Shohei will be whole, and the Tucker we expected will be the Tucker we get.

このサブレが楽しかった。明るい面を見よう。年寄りって言われるけど、ラッシングとJDPは出番が増えるし、朗希は成長を続ける。スクーバルと山本はスクーバルと山本だ。翔平は万全になって、期待してた通りのタッカーが戻ってくる

I don’t feel bad about getting bounced. Not even sad about ending the dynasty talk. I am just sad that this might be the last time we saw this group together.  It is like watching the end of a beloved tv show. Such a memorable group of players.
