Had a feeling we were probably losing when we had runners on second/third, no outs and got one run. It’s better than nothing but you’d hope the top of the order could bring in more than that.

It is kinda wild that we can feel when the offense is just not going to give us anything that night.

The offense stunk. Knew not scoring on bases loaded was gonna come back to bite us.

This is a great team, but our inability to execute fundamentals sometimes is stunning and it comes back to bite us again and again. The larger trend this season of us having games fairly regularly where we struggle to move RISP multiple times a game — that’s the troubling part, because that’s the kind of issue that can rear its head at inopportune times like the playoffs.

このチームが強いのは間違いないけど、時々基本プレーを遂行できなくてそれが毎回尾を引いてる。1試合で何度も得点圏で凡退するゲームが定期的にあるのが今シーズンの一番の心配で、こういう問題はプレーオフみたいな大事な場面で必ず顔を出すんだよ。

The regular season is where teams form habits that either hinder or help them in October. At this point I wouldn’t be shocked if we got swept out in the NLDS yet again ala 2023 due to our inability to hit anything smaller than fucking JUPITER.

エメット・シーハン、最高のピッチングをありがとう！打線が最悪なタイミングで裏切って本当に申し訳ない。

Outside of two pitches (gutball fastball and a hanging slider), Sheehan looked good and pitched well enough that he gets the win most nights. Unfortunately the offense stayed back in LA but if he gives performances like that going forward, I’ll take that.

ど真ん中速球とぶら下がったスライダーの2球以外は、シーハンは本当に良かった。ほとんどの夜なら勝てる投球だよ。打線がLA残置だったのが痛かったけど、あのパフォーマンスを続けてくれるなら大歓迎。

if we require sho to hit homeruns for us to win games, that’s a problem

He carried the whole weight of the pen on his shoulders for a long time. It was him and Casparius before they brought Hurt.

ずっとブルペンの重荷を一人で背負ってきた選手だよ。ハートが来る前はドレイヤーとカスパリウスだけだったんだから。

Kinda weird. He’s always been pretty solid for us despite not having an elite pitches. He only really struggled at the end of last year. 10 scoreless outings before tonight.
