I’ve been watching Wemby play basketball for the last four months and somehow that was still way more believable than the legend of Shohei.

Mostly because you can intuit that a guy that tall would be good at basketball. Like sure he moves superhuman, but it makes sense in context.
Shohei doesn’t make sense even in the context of baseball.

Yeah, that is so impressive to me. He is able to hit it 400 plus, up the middle or opposite field, with all his weight forward and just flicking the bat out. On a regular basis. I don’t think I have ever seen someone able to do that consistently.
